In Vancouver, I saw five young Oriental people kidding around and taking photographs of each other. I already entered a post on one of them, #79. They had no reservations about being photographed, and were actually hams. Great!

One young man gave his name as Matt, and the other, Dave. Clearly these were Anglicized, adopted names, as their English was halting. The two young ladies gave me Chinese names that I could not come close to spelling or pronouncing. I don’t know if there is any significance to the fact that males took English names while females did not.
