I pre-visualized this shot long before I met Carl. My wife and I enjoy visiting small, privately owned bookstores. The owners uniformly love books and the bookstores that they operate. We found Black Mountain Books in Black mountain, NC. The owner, Carl, and his wife finished their careers as school teachers in the Atlanta Georgia area.

So, they continue their involvement with books by collecting, and selling, used and rare books. Not really retirement, but exchanging one career for another.
