I saw Harvey and Michelle (tomorrow's post) standing near the pier at Ft. Myers Beach. When I approached them and explained that I'd like to photograph them, they were a bit reluctant, but didn't close the door. I pulled out my Android phone and showed a zillion thumbnails from my flickr account. This turned the tide, and they agreed, albeit very quietly.

I had used my 50mm f1.4 Nikkor lens for the past few months, but switched to the 85mm f1.8 for Harvey and Michelle. I have been cropping so close that the 85 is possibly better for head shots.
