I walked around the Chalk Festival, which I thought of as a Stalk Festival – I was patrolling for Strangers. Ebony and her friend Eric stood out, so I positioned myself so that they were walking my way. As they approached, I asked a favor, and explained the project. They agreed, although Ebony seemed quite shy.

But once I started clicking, she surprised me by assuming several gestures that I did not solicit. She was a ham is disguise!

Eric made such ridiculous expressions that I have no desire to display his images. When we were done, I thanked them and asked if they would like me to e-mail images to them. They were not interested and just walked off.
