While visiting Gettysburg, I saw Kenny sitting on a bench on the town square. Interesting that the "square" is round, with a traffic roundabout. But locals call it "The Square". Go figure. Anyway, Kenny looked alert, and was watching traffic; I was afraid that he was waiting for someone, and would leave. So I quickey crossed a street and introduced myself. He seemed anxious to be photographed, but he only had a minute before he had to go (whew!).

It seems that most towns have a few iconic personalities. I just had the feeling that Kenny was such a Character, and that most locals would know him. I did meet him twice more in three days, and that will be part of the next post.
