I saw Tim walking about half a block away, and noticed his bushy, Afro-like hair. we were heading in different directions, so it seemed unlikely that our paths would cross. But later, he was walking toward me on a different street. Luck beats skill every time. When I asked to photograph him, he got a shy smile, and seemed pleased.

After several shots, I asked if he wanted me to e-mail an image. Tim said that he doesn't use computers at all, so I got his home address and mailed him a 4X6. This posted image is square, and I like the Swallowed smile. I sent him the 2X3 aspect ratio print of a more traditional smile.
